Thank you so much for your support this season. We have had a lot of fun raising chickens in a clean healthy environment where the chickens are treated like they should be. We believe all the extra effort is worth the excellent eggs they produce. Thanks for all the nice compliments. It makes working with the chickens even more fun!
Free Range/Pastured Brown Eggs
We offer great tasting large brown chicken eggs. Our eggs are not certified organic. About ½ of our flock is certified organic and ½ of our original flock has been feed conventional feed as they were raised as pullets. ALL of our laying hens eat Certified Organic feed and grasses. Our chickens are moved to fresh pasture or new grass every few days where they can eat fresh grass, bugs, worms, enjoy the sunshine, fresh air, and have a happy, healthy life. Yes, they are spoiled chickens!
Not only are you getting farm fresh delicious eggs, but eggs are a nutrient-dense food, providing a complex array of both macro- and micro-nutrients. New research has shown the differences between eggs from hens raised naturally on pastures rather than in factory farmed cage operations or supermarket eggs. You can also taste the difference!
What makes our eggs so good?
