These high-quality asparagus crowns are ideal for spring planting and are a rewarding perennial crop that will produce tender, flavorful spears for many years to come.

🌿 Why Gardeners Choose Our Asparagus Crowns

  • 2-Year Asparagus Crowns – Grown from seed and field-raised for 2–3 years for strong establishment
  • Perennial Crop – Enjoy harvests for 15+ years once established
  • Naturally Grown, Non-GMO – Never treated
  • Cold-Hardy Varieties – Hardy in USDA zones 4–8 (Millennium hardy to zone 3)

Our asparagus crowns are estimated to be ready for a light harvest the spring following planting, with increased yields each year thereafter.

🌱 Asparagus Crown Information

Asparagus crowns ship dormant as bare roots. For best results, plant as soon as possible after arrival. If planting must be delayed, remove all packaging, gently loosen the crowns, cover lightly with newspaper, and store in a cool, shaded, well-ventilated area until planting.

  • Planting Timing: Plant asparagus crowns in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Many gardeners plant asparagus around the same time as potatoes.
  • Shipping: Begins late February.
