Your Organic Garlic Container Garden Kit will arrive in a netted bag, labeled by variety. Unpack and store in a cool, dry place or refrigerator until planting time.

SHIPPING INFORMATION: Fall garlic begins shipping in September for an October/November traditional planting time.

Basic Garlic Growing Information

• Planting Time: Plant in the fall as the temperatures start to cool.
• Sun Requirement: Garlic requires full sun – the more, the better!
• Soil Fertility: Adding compost or a balanced organic fertilizer is essential for healthy garlic. Our Keene Garlic Fertilizer is specially formulated for garlic!
• Planting: Separate cloves and plant each clove 4 inches apart, pointy side up and root side down, in fertilized soil. Apply mulch and water.  You can also plant for the rare green garlic.
